오는 11월 6일, 정규 2집 “TRUE SELF”를 발표하는 제리케이가 타이틀곡 ‘월요병 (Good Night) (feat. 남주희 of Chic)’의 뮤직비디오 티저를 공개한다. 




짧은 주말의 끝을 앞두고 단 하룻밤만이라도 편안한 마음으로 잠들고 싶다는, 모든 사회인들의 간절함을 담은 이 곡은, Kimparkchella의 감각적인 프로듀싱 위에 제리케이의 선 굵은 랩이 매력적인 트랙이다. 특히, ‘밴드 서바이벌 TOP밴드’ 16강에 올랐던 밴드 Chic의 보컬이자, 현재 ‘위대한 탄생 3’에 출연중인 여성보컬 남주희가 피쳐링으로 참여해 뛰어난 가창력을 선보였다.
뮤직비디오의 티저는 Rude Paper의 ‘믿지 않아 (feat. Sean2slow)’, DJ Dopsh의 ‘Dopshit’, Andup의 ‘지금 이대로 (feat. Brother Su)’ 등 최근 다양한 힙합 아티스트들의 뮤직비디오를 연출한 제이팩토리(Jay Factory)가 제작하였으며, 본편은 앨범이 발매되는 11월 6일에 공개된다.

한편, 제리케이는 11월 25일 (일) 오후 5시 30분 롤링홀에서 앨범 발매기념 쇼케이스를 개최한다. 이는 원곡의 느낌을 최대한 살림과 동시에 더욱 파워풀한 사운드를 선사하기 위하여 최근 대다수의 미국 메이저 힙합콘서트와 같이, 밴드의 라이브연주와 인스트루멘털이 결합된 방식으로 진행될 이번 공연에는, 실력파 소울밴드 Ebonyhill과 DJ Wegun이 Jerry.k와 함께 생동감 넘치는 무대를 보여줄 것이다.
게스트와 피쳐링으로는 The Quiett & Dok2, Paloalto & Evo, Andup, Deepflow, TakeOne, Ugly Duck, Soul One 등이 출연하며, 수험생과 Jerry.k Goods 구매자에게는 인당 3,000원씩의 할인혜택이 제공된다. 예매는 11월 9일 (금) 오후 6시부터 힙합플레이야에서 가능하다.

Jerry.k releases a teaser video clip of ‘월요병 (Good Night) (feat. Joohee Nam of Chic)’ that is the lead single of his 2nd LP “TRUE SELF” which is to be released on Nov 6th.
This song is a relatable song to the members of society that want to sleep comfortably for one night as they await the end of a short weekend. The track is a charming combination of Kimparkchella’s sensible producing with Jerry.k’s rapping laid on top of the beat. Another notable feature to the track is the outstanding vocals by vocalist of Chic, Nam Joo Hee, who made it to the TOP 16 bands for the television program “Band Survival TOP Band” and is currently a contestant on the third season of “Birth of a Great Star.”
The music video teaser is directed by Jay Factory who has directed various Korean hip-hop music videos such as 믿지 않아 (feat. Sean2slow) by Rude Paper, Dopshit by DJ Dopsh, and 지금 이대로 (feat. Brother Su). The full version of the video will be released on Nov 6th.
Jerry.k will be hosting a showcase for the release of his second official album “TRUE SELF.” The upcoming showcase that will take place in Hongdae Rolling Hall at 5PM on November 25th (SUN) will be hosted like a major American hip hop concert and a live band will play the instrumentals for the tracks performed. In order to deliver an even powerful sound as well as keep the exact sound and vibe from the original tracks, Jerry.k will be performing alongside the skilled soul band Ebonyhill and DJ Wegun. Artists such as The Quiett & Dok2, Paloalto & Evo, Andup, Deepflow, TakeOne, Ugly Duck, Soul One and others who took part in featuring for the album will be performing also and students preparing for CSAT or who wears Jerry.k Goods will receive a 3,000won discount.
